San Pedro, Infinity Instructor named Overall National SECME Teacher
of the Year Sylvia San Pedro was named Overall National SECME
Teacher of the Year, one of the highest distinctions awarded to
members of her profession. San Pedro, who has been teaching at
Washington High School since 1993, was singled out for her professional
achievements, service to the SECME program, leadership, and community
involvement. Among the valuable prizes she received were a computer,
$5,000, and the national SECME trophy, which will be on display
at her school throughout the coming year.
